So, today we have got our result for CSC401 test. So this is my correction for this test.
yeah, as you can see there’s quite much of correction that i’ve made which means i got pretty bad marks. T.T
E-learning Tools~
Recently, we’ve learned about e-learning from Miss Siti Fatimah, our lecturer. It was such a great knowledge because as a college student, we’ve definitely use this kind of learning tools. As in UiTM, our e-learning tools are ilearn. We get information from the site, if and only if we have an internet connection. Internet is valuable you know(nowadays). More Intermediate Formula~
Today, we’ve learned more about how to use an intermediate formula in Microsoft Excel. I’m quite confused when the numbers and words are super long and somehow it makes me anxious. It’s not that hard but sometimes it confusing. Basically what we’ve learned today was how to use the count if, nested if, left lookup, and payment function.
I’m going to look at it back , try to memorize, try to understand and hoping that I can master it. hehe. Here you go:
Devices: Input and Output
Last wednesday, we’ve been learning about input and output. In input, we’ve learn about the keyboard, ponting devices, touch screen, pen input, motion, voice and audio and also scanners and reading devices. Basically, input devices is a hardware or a peripheral devices used to tranfer data into a gadget such as laptop, computer, smartphone and so on. For example, we used keyboard to transfer data into computer.
Output devices is any device used to send data from a computer to a user or another devices. There are several types of output devices such as display, assistive technology input and output, and printers. For example, we used headphone to listen to a song. The data from our phone which is the song transferred to us via the headphones.

Miss Fatimah asked us to search about all of the above. Basically it’s just a general knowledge. The things that you should know but the truth is I don’t know MOST of it. Sad.
The first thing we should search about is Train Too Bosan. It was a parody taken from Train to Busan which is a newly released film from Korea. The movie was super popular! Everyone loves it.
This parody was about some guys who are playing a games call pokemon-go (also a super popular games) in a train because they were too bored inside the train. While they were playing the games, their phone charge was decreasing tremendously. They need a powerbank to charge their phone or else they will be bored inside the train. They saw some man with a powerbank and they started chasing him. The man run and run and they were chasing him like a zombie. That’s what Train Too Bosan is.
The next thing we should search about is Scanner. It was some tools being used to get a copy of an image or some notes. Nowaday with advanced technologies, a scanner was something, some notes or picture that we would like to save in our phone or computer and we can print it back. You can get this scanner in your phone if you want to because there’s a tons of it in Appstore or Google Playstore. It was really beneficial for student, office worker and everyone that needs it.

A 3D Printer also known as additive manufacturing (AM), refers to processes used to synthesis a three dimensional object in which successive layers of material are formed under computer control to create an object. It was a mind blowing technologies that has been created. Unfortunately we don’t have any 3D printer around. So, I’ve never seen it before but I always sees it in the internet. I really want one.
Blu ray also known as Blu-ray Disc (BD), is the name of a new optical disc format jointly developed by the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA), a group of the world’s leading consumer electronics, personal computer and media manufacturers. The format was developed to enable recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition video (HD), as well as storing large amounts of data. Nowadays, blu-ray can also play mp3 songs.

The next one is www3. There are two types of it. Which is www2 and www3. It was a Subdomain , part of a domain name identifying a website. It was also refers to world Wide Web , a system of interlinked, hypertext documents that runs over the Internet.
Spyware is software that is installed on a computing device without the end user’s knowledge. Such software is controversial because even though it is sometimes installed for relatively innocuous reasons, it can violate the end user’s privacy and has the potential to be abused. Spyware sometimes referred to as tracking software. This software might be used in the workplace, installed on a corporate laptops to monitor their employees browsing activities. It might also being used by parents to monitor their children’s activities on the internet. It might also found in cookies to track what webpages a user visits in order to target advertising in a contextual marketing campaign.
A castaway is a person who is cast adrift or ashore. While the situation usually happens after a shipwreck , some people voluntarily stay behind on a deserted island, either to evade captors or the world in general. A person may also be left ashore as punishment. In the movies castaway,Cast Away is a 2000 American epic survival drama film directed and produced by Robert Zemeckis and starring Tom Hanks , Helen Hunt, and Nick Searcy. The film depicts a FedEx employee stranded on an uninhabited island after his plane crashes in the South Pacific and his attempts to survive on the island using remnants of his plane’s cargo. The film was a critical and commercial success, and Hanks was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 73rd Academy Awards for his performance. This was the first film to be produced by Hanks’ production company under its new aegis Playtone.
On the Galaxy Note 7 issues, reports indicate the handsets are still experiencing battery issues. Galaxy Note 7 owners have told South Korean television news network YTN that the new handsets are suffering overheating and sharp drops in battery power, according to the Wall Street Journal.
RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content . Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it.RSS solves a problem for people who regularly use the web. It allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the sites you are interested in. You save time by not needing to visit each site individually. You ensure your privacy , by not needing to join each site’s email newsletter. The number of sites offering RSS feeds is growing rapidly and includes big names like yahoo.com.
The IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) describes itself as “the world’s largest technical professional society — promoting the development and application of electrotechnology and allied sciences for the benefit of humanity, the advancement of the profession, and the well-being of our members.”. The IEEE fosters the development of standards that often become national and international standards. The organization publishes a number of journals, has many local chapters, and several large societies in special areas, such as the IEEE Computer Society.
What I Learn For Today: Simple Arithmetic Formula-
We’ve learned about how to make a simple arithmetic formula for today. Just doing this and that. I can’t really tell what we do but yeah table and that numbers. It’s all about simple arithmetic formula. Do I having fun learning it? Yes, Of course I do! It is fun. Learning new things which I never learn before, Solving it using excel. I’m quite new to this kind of things (computer science) and I’m super excited to learn more and more and more about it. CS401 strive for A+!

From the title above, most probably you’ll know what I’m going to say right. Since it was my very first blog post, I’m going to share a little bit about myself lah. Hehe. Okay, my name is Nurul Farahani Sahiri. Call me Farah, or whatever you wanna call me. BUT don’t call me Sahiri. It’s my father’s name. That would be awkward if you call me by that name. Okay move onn~ I’m 20 years old this year. My hometown: Sabah, Malaysia. You know “Negeri di bawah bayu”, Gunung Kinabalu, what else.. Sungai Kinabatangan and so on..
